Tasting notes
Ruby red colour of great intensity and depth. Spicy, fruit-forward aromas, with ripe red fruits such as strawberry and morello cherry. On the palate: soft, round tannins with excellent volume.
Vinification
Grapes are picked at the targeted ripeness, destemmed and gently crushed, then sent directly to ferment. Alcoholic fermentation lasts 5-10 days at 25-28°C. The blend is aged for approximately 3 months in French oak.
Ageing
Approximately 3 months in French oak.
Food pairing
Traditional dishes such as empanadas, corn pie, humitas and beef stew. Serve between 16-18°C.
