Tasting notes
Aromas of ripe red and black fruit with a hint of liquorice typical of Tempranillo, and a subtle Malbec character that refines the tannins. Ageing in French oak adds complexity - a smooth and elegant wine.
Vinification
Low-temperature macerations with careful control throughout fermentation, to preserve aromas of red and black fruit. Fermentation, including malolactic, takes place entirely in small-capacity stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
12 months in 225-litre French oak barrels.
Food pairing
Aged cheeses, grilled red meat, stews and roasted dishes.
