Col dei Franchi is a small house from the hills of Treviso province, in the heart of Prosecco country. Its founders call themselves grape hunters: rather than working only their own plots, they seek out and select parcels from small growers across the Valdobbiadene hills, returning to them vintage after vintage. The result is a focused range of sparkling wines, including the CAJ series in our catalogue — from Prosecco DOC in extra dry and brut styles, through a millesimato rosé, to Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG from steep, hand-worked vineyards. The style is precise and clean: fine bubbles, green apple and white peach, and no more sweetness than the wine needs.
