Tenuta Sant'Antonio was founded by four brothers with roots in an old farming tradition. Through study, dedication and hard work they became accomplished winegrowers. Their winery's story spans nearly thirty years, beginning in 1989 — but the land they farm today had been in their hearts for generations, and they grew up playing in these vineyards. Sustainability is a daily commitment: protecting the land and its fruits is the central purpose of the Castagnedi family's work, and it always has been. Everything that can guarantee authenticity and safety is an integral part of their research and a key objective. The safety of the vineyards and of the people who work in them is an important part of the winery's mission, and the direct result is the quality and authenticity of their wines. Respect for the cycles and rhythms of nature lies at the heart of their vision. Today the Castagnedi family produces outstanding wines — Soave, Valpolicella and Amarone. Their conviction is that "Not all Amarone, Valpolicella and Soave wines are the same. The family takes pride in the diversity of its wines, believing that the choice of winery and wine is also a judgement of style on the part of the discerning consumer."
