Tasting notes
Notes of raspberry and cranberry with a hint of black pepper. A balanced and complex Zinfandel.
Vinification
Hand picking and hand sorting at the vineyard in the early morning. Once at the winery, the grapes are de-stemmed, gently crushed and put into tanks for a 24-hour cold soak. During maceration there are three pump-overs per day. Each lot is kept separate until the final blend.
Ageing
15 months in America oak.
