Tasting notes
Colour: deep, inky red. Aroma: mature, varietal nose with soft black fruits, small flowers (violets) and an interesting accent of pine honey and notes of liqueur. Taste: juicy, round body with grainy, velvety tannins, good structure and elegant, noble finish. A wine with ageing potential.
Vinification
Carefully sorting of the grapes. Fermentation of whole uncrushed berries. Precise temperature control. The malolactic fermentation takes place in the barrels.
Ageing
In French oak barrels for 8 months.
Food pairing
Excellent with a variety of dishes - cured meats, mature cheeses, gourmet burgers and barbecue.
