Tasting notes
Beautiful light-weighted pink colour, intriguing aroma of fine red fruits (cherry, wild strawberries) accompanied by delicate floral hints (violets) and (youthful) yeasty notes. A refreshing front palate with lively acid elements, then a red-fruited mid- palate with a juicy profile, medium body, balanced, really much fun based, finely structured with a pleasant floral and slightly herbal finale.
Vinification
The larger amount of the Zweigelt Rose comes from grapes harvested in a state of middle ripeness, gently pressed like white wine, a smaller part is from highest quality Zweigelt grapes where the must flowing out of the press is used before the pressing even starts. After fermentation in stainless steel tank the wine undergoes partly or complete malolactic fermentation (depending on the year).

In stainless steel tanks.
Food pairing
Perfect as an aperitif or with tapas, antipasti or smoked salmon.
