Tasting notes
On the nose: ripe red fruits - cherry and strawberry with a hint of vanilla, spices and smoke. Great structure and texture of the tannins. A warm, long finish.
Vinification
Traditional vinification for reds with fermentation at 28°C and maceration for about two weeks, followed by full malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
14 months in 225 liter French oak barrels (30% new, 70% second and third use).
Food pairing
Excellent for steak, burgers or barbeque.
