Tasting notes
Beautiful purple colour. Fruit forward on the nose with aromas of ripe blackberry, chocolate and hints of vanilla. A round, body with soft tanins and nice freshness. A pleasant fruity finish.
Vinification
A combination of maceration techniques were used to bring out a lush, concentrated character and minimize harsh tannins.
Ageing
8 months in 30% new French and American oak barrels.
Food pairing
Pairs exceptionally well with BBQ ribs, grilled meat and ripe cheeses.
