Бабич
Марлборо · Нова Зеландия
Babich was founded in 1916 by Josip Babich, a Dalmatian immigrant who planted his first vines in West Auckland while still in his teens. More than a century on, the winery remains wholly family-owned — third-generation David Babich leads it today — and stands among New Zealand's larger family wineries. Marlborough is the heart of production, where Babich farms its own vineyards, including certified organic blocks. In 2026 the winery marked 110 years — an unbroken family line the New World can rarely match. Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is the calling card — our catalogue carries both the organic bottling and the fuller Black Label — alongside Pinot Gris, a Pinot Noir rosé and Chardonnay from Hawke's Bay. The style has stayed consistent for a hundred years: clean fruit, bright acidity, and wines that taste of where they grew.
