TerraMater — "Mother Earth" in Latin — was founded in 1996 by the three Canepa sisters, heirs to an established Italian-Chilean winemaking family, who kept the family's vineyard estates and started a house of their own. The winery farms its own vineyards in the Maipo and Curicó valleys, the source of the Alma range in our catalogue: Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Rosé in the practical 187 ml bottle. The small format has a precise job — hotel minibars, airline trolleys, a single glass of wine — with no compromise on what goes into the bottle. TerraMater's style is clean and fruit-forward: wines that do their everyday work, and do it properly.
